Businesses

Businesses are properties you manage for profit. You can sell goods or services, set your own surcharges, and upgrade your business. However, you must stay active and keep the rent paid, or it may be taken away—nobody likes freeloaders!

Paying rent

To keep your business, you have to pay rent. If you don't, your business will be seized and auctioned. You can check your rent and paid days in the business management section of the circle menu.

Pay your rent via the Property Payment pickup at any bank. You can pay for up to 10 days in advance (Premium users can pay for longer).

Losing your business

You can lose your business for two reasons:

Unpaid rent.

Low activity*

  • If you are in-game for less than 3 hours over a 6-day period (Monday to Saturday), your business will be seized and put up for auction.

Business management

Tap Edit in the main menu to access these controls:

  • Entry fee: set a price for customers to enter your establishment.

  • Supply pricing / markup: set the purchase price for supplies or adjust the markup on goods.

  • Order supplies: if you're running low on supplies, order more through this menu. The cost will be deducted from the business account.

  • Fire alarm: for 30,000 units of in-game currency, you install a system so firefighters automatically respond to any fires.

Financial Stats: View your sales history for the last 20 days (less, if the business was purchased less than 20 days ago).

Business upgrades

  • Expanded Storage: increases supply storage capacity to 3,000.

  • Medical Care: Adds a medkit to your business.

  • Reduced Taxes: Reduces taxes by 50%. The upgrade costs 50% of the business value.

  • Entry Sound Effects: Adds a sound effect when someone enters the business.

Max Storage: Increases product storage capacity to 10,000.

  • Ad Campaign: Adds your business to the Businesses tab in GPS.

  • Wear-and-Tear Expert: Increases wear recovery by 50%.

Selling a business

To sell to the state, use the /sellbiz command to get 70% of the value back (after a 30% tax). Before selling, all transactions must be closed.

To sell to a player, use the /sellmybiz command and enter their ID. The price must be higher than the state value for the trade to be valid.
