Skins define your character's physical appearance. While you start with a basic look, you can get new ones from:

Battle Pass
To buy a skin, simply stand on the blue marker with the clothing icon and then browse the menu.
In clothing stores, you can only see skins for your character's gender, while the Premium Store has no such restrictions.
Skins stay in your inventory. To put one on, open your inventory and tap Equip. The appearance of your character will change.
Matreshka RP features a list of special skins:

Work skins: Automatically issued for certain jobs and removed once you clock out.

Faction skins: Issued by factions. These stay on until you manually switch back or disable them at your faction base.

Jail skins: Mandatory while serving time. These cannot be changed until you are released.
